This amazing instrument revolutionized music, making it possible for musicians to synthesize sounds using voltage controlled oscillators, filters and envelope generators. Inspired by jazz fusion musicians Chick Corea and Herbie Hancock, I gigged with my Minimoog perched on top of a Fender Rhodes Suitcase electric piano.

<p>Over the years, analog hardware synthesizers were eventually superseded by a generation of programmable MIDI and digital hardware synthesizers, which in turn have been superseded by software synthesizers. However, I&#8217;m still amazed at the variety of new sounds and effects that can be produced with these instruments.</p>]]></content:encoded>
